The Media Council's recommendations

Pursuant to the Media Act, the Media Council has prepared and published recommendations on effective technical solutions to be applied by linear and on-demand media service providers for the protection of minors; on the portrayal of minors in media services; and on the adequacy of rules applicable to unlawful reader comments in online media products, as well as on effective solutions in this regard. The Act also authorises the Media Council to issue recommendations on the application of the rules on product placement, and the Council has exercised this authority.
