The Authority has started consultations on the renewal of entitlements of radio spectrum use in the 2100 MHz frequency band – CALL FOR CONSULTATION

In June 2027, entitlements of radio spectrum use for nine 5 MHz duplex blocks in the 2100 MHz frequency band (1920–1980/2110–2170 MHz) will expire. The Authority plans to renew the expiring entitlements of radio spectrum use for the three current holders, as set out in the attached draft decision.

Comments on the draft decision may be submitted until 9 March 2026.

Within 30 days of the publication of the draft on the website of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Authority"), anyone may submit in writing their position, proposal or other comments (hereinafter referred to as "comments") on the draft.

Registered customers may submit their comments by way of electronic administration, via the Declaration Form available at https://adatkapu.nmhh.hu, while non-registered customers may submit their comments via other electronic means, in particular using the e-paper service available at https://epapir.gov.hu, addressed to the Authority (pursuant to Act CL of 2016 on General Public Administration Procedures, the Authority may only consider comments sent in this way as validly notified). When submitting comments, please refer to the "2100 MHz frequency band renewal".

Please note that pursuant to Section 33(4) of Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications, the comments submitted are not and cannot be classified as business secrets.

By submitting a comment, the interested party submitting the comment shall not become the subject of the administrative procedural relationship affected by the authority decision that is the subject of the consultation. Stakeholders shall not have the right to legal redness within the context of its contributions, even in relation to the portions of the official decision pertaining to the contributions.
