The Strategy of the NMHH 2014–2018

It was in view of securing Hungary’s digital future that the National Media and Infocommunications Authority created its strategy for the 2014-2018 period, which, among others, contains the Authority’s vision and mission statement. Putting a strong emphasis on equal opportunity and on educating future generations, the NMHH’s vision is based upon the following four concepts:

  • Ensure the availability of safe media and communication services that meet the needs of consumers and audiences.
  • Provide unrestricted and safe access to all channels of information, and therefore to the values of both past and present.
  • Promote the awareness of consumers on media and communication services, with the digital literacy of future generations in mind.
  • Have the NMHH function as an infocommunications knowledge centre staffed with internationally renowned, outstanding professionals.
