Postal Directive Committee (PDC)

The Postal Directive Committee (PDC) is responsible for supporting and supervising the implementation of directives on postal services in the European Union. Its meetings are attended by representatives of the Member States – experts from ministries and regulatory authorities dealing with postal matters – who assist the European Commission in the field of postal regulation.

A representative of the NMHH also participates in the work of the Postal Directive Committee (PDC), ensuring that Hungarian regulatory and market experiences are reflected in EU-level consultations and that the domestic application of EU postal rules is in line with common directives.

The PDC meets twice a year in Brussels. Hungary has been a member of the committee since 2004.
