We ensure that the infocommunications and media services are available for everyone in the best possible quality, at competitive prices, with valuable content and free of discrimination.
We manage the available frequencies suitable for mobile services, and for the allocation of telephone numbers.
We improve the media awareness of the youth.

About us

The NMHH is a regulatory body with special legal status reporting to the National Assembly on an annual basis. With a staff headcount of 718 professionals (as of 31 December 2022), it operates four locations within Budapest and another five outside the city (in Szeged, Pécs, Debrecen, Miskolc and Sopron).
