The Media Council announced the winner of the Székesfehérvár small community frequency tender
At this week's meeting, the Media Council of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (the Media Authority) concluded that the sole tenderer, Alba Regia Műsorszolgáltató Kft., was the winner of the tender procedure for the use (in principle) of a small community radio facility in Székesfehérvár. The Council recognised Jazz Tv as a community media service at the request of the service provider.
The panel warned the service provider of Life TV for directly encouraging viewers to buy products of a small producer brand in a January programme entitled Keverd újra, Buday! (Mix again, Buday!), which featured a product placement. Also in January, in the programmes entitled Otthon neked (Home for You) and Fit Life , the channel invited viewers to buy products and use services from several companies sponsoring the programme, on three occasions, which was in violation of the law.
