Médiaszertár, NMHH’s Facebook group to assist with out-of-classroom media education

Reflecting the epidemiological situation, NMHH will suspend the operation of its customer service points and the Magic Valley workshops. Médiaszertár, a Facebook group created by the Authority today will continue to support teachers conducting media literacy trainings by offering them an interactive platform.

In compliance with the out-of-classroom digital education system implemented as of Monday by national measures, both the Budapest and Debrecen locations of the Magic Valley Media Literacy Education Centres of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) will suspend visits from student groups as of 16 March, until further notice. Schools which have registered for the remaining months of the term will be directly contacted to have their registrations rescheduled.

Médiaszertár, a private Facebook group will be available for teachers involved in media education who are affected by the out-of-classroom term, offering them teaching material and advice, and a platform for professional discourse.

As of 16 March, the customer service points of NMHH will also be closed, customer service will be available only by telephone and via the Internet.
