According to the decision, applications by Magyar Telekom Nyrt., Telenor Magyarország Zrt., Vodafone Magyarország Zrt. and a consortium comprising Magyar Posta Zrt., Magyar Villamosművek Zrt. and MFB Invest Zrt. have been found formally valid and therefore suitable for registration.

As regards RCS&RDS S.A. and VIETTEL Group, the NMHH had to deny their registration, a requisite for participating in the auction.

Romania-based RCS&RDS S.A. has failed to meet the requirement, as specified in the tender notice, on outstanding market surveillance fees of companies controlled by the applicant, meanwhile the application submitted by the Vietnamese VIETTEL Group was considered formally invalid on numerous grounds, beyond the possibility of rectification.

The Participation Registry will be made available on NMHH's website at www.nmhh.hu/Frekvenciaértékesítések/900 MHz árverés/Dokumentumok.

As the next step in the auction procedure, the bidding stage is set to commence on 5 January 2012.
