Measuring internet speed
NMHH has launched a dedicated website to offer Hungarian internet users a tool, independent of all providers, for measuring the technical features of the internet services they use.
These technical features include upload and download speeds as well as server response times. Users who register on our website and specify the exact name of the service to be measured can also find out if their speed values match the speeds offered and guaranteed by their provider. During the registration process, NMHH requests a postcode to identify the geographical location of the service so that it can display the measured results, anonymised, on a map and in summaries sorted by a variety of criteria. In this way, users can find out the actual performance of service providers and services in a particular geographical area, which can help them select the subscription that is right for them.
