The practice of safe internet use on the Children’s Day event in Városliget
NMHH has participated in the free Children’s Day event of the International Children's Safety Service (NGYSZ) and the Municipality of Budapest. The staff of NMHH was dealing with nearly 1300 children during the two days.

In the presentation entitled ‘Exit paths from the labyrinths of the world wide web’ (Kiutak a világháló útvesztőiből) held as part of the training for the Pest County crime prevention desk officers, a staff member of NMHH’s Digital Literacy Development Unit reported on the activities of Internet Hotline, especially the cases relevant to child protection issues.

One of the staff members of the Digital Literacy Development Unit delivered a lecture entitled ‘Managing infringing internet content from the aspect of Internet Hotline’ (Jogsértő netes tartalmak kezelése az Internet Hotline nézőpontjából) to the public administration major students of Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
NMHH at the 24th National Youth Press Festival
This year DUE Médiahálózat, the student journalist association, hosted its 24th National Youth Press Festival at Budapest’s Várkert Bazár and, as usual, NMHH was also represented at the event. The NMHH staff prepared an exciting quiz on the subject of conscious internet use.

The crime prevention conference organised by the Child Protection and Judicial Department of the Pest County Government Office described the dangerous and harmful contents children can face over the internet as well as the operation of and experience with the Internet Hotline.
INHOPE general meeting in Budapest
INHOPE, the international association of Internet hotlines fighting against the sexual exploitation of children, hosted its first annual, closed assembly in Hungary, co-organized by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary (NMHH) from 13 to 16 of June.
