NMHH: Vodafone did not comply with statutory provisions in last year’s data reconciliation
Hundreds of thousands of Vodafone prepaid subscribers can expect new data reconciliation if last year they were not verified by the mobile operator against statutory provisions when the operator used its own registered data instead of the fresh data provided by subscribers as the baseline.
NMHH: SMS Top-Up Prone to Abuse
The NMHH advises users not to fall for scams when unknown individuals try to persuade them into sending any string of numbers via SMS. They should ignore such requests or, if they have already suffered a loss, report it to the police.
NMHH: Prepaid mobile phone users must reconcile their data with their service providers this year as well
The deadline for this year’s data reconciliation differs for every card holder, as it depends on when the subscription contract was signed. The data reconciliation must be performed until the anniversary of the contract date.
