The Media Council did not withdraw the right of frequency band use allocated to Klubrádió, and there is still a chance for it to continue operating. There have been several gestures made by the Media Council in this regard; the radio station was not discriminated against. The decisions were taken in line with the provisions of the Media Act leaving the Council with no room for manoeuvre. Every decision of the Media Council, which supervised the free media market, is open to appeal.

On 14 September, Monika Karas, President of Hungary’s National Media and Infocommunications Authority held the Dr. Magyari Endre award ceremony, originally set to take place in May.

A Hungarian authority on European broadcasting and the legendary hostess of many programmes including Delta and Táncdalfesztivál (Dance Music Festival) were presented with the lifetime award named after the inventor of the colour television by Monika Karas, President of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) on 11th November at the NMHH’s headquarters in Ostrom street.

Monika Karas, President of the NMHH has conferred the third infocommunications lab this year on 18 October at the Kandó Kálmán Electrical Engineer Faculty of the Óbuda University.
