How do we manage personal information we receive?
Visitors to our website disclose personal information to the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH). While the Internet connection is maintained, technical data on the visitor’s browser, Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name (URL), the time of access and the sites visited is automatically compiled in our computer system. The NMHH only uses such information for statistical analysis regarding the website. The site does not use any cookies.
We use personal information received by the hotline when making reports in line with Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information and all users may request their deletion, correction or information on their use at any time.
Data will only be handled to the extent and time necessary for operation, and only in respect of personal data strictly necessary for achieving the purpose of data handling and otherwise suitable for achieving such purposes. The NMHH will treat such data confidentially and in line with the stipulations of the person making the report. It will not transmit such data to any third party, with the exception of the cases set out under the law.
